Archery is run by USVI Department of Planning and Natural ResourcesDepartment of Fish and Wildlife, funded by United States of America Fish and Wildlife Service, in cooperation with Sports Parks and Recreation. The program is open to the public, youth, adult, groups and clubs..




During the “Yellow – Safer At Home” phased re-opening of the local economy, the Isaac Gateword James Park Archery Range will be open for practice from 2 to 5 Saturday and Sunday. Until we are “Green – New Normal”, there will be a maximum of 10 persons on the field at any one time. (One range officer/instructor and 9 participants.). This means there will be 9 open lanes in which to practice. Targets will have a 15 foot separation. Five Tier System for Re-Opening 

  • Red: Total quarantine
  • Orange: Current Stay-At-Home order (in effect until 6 am on May 4)
  • Yellow: Safer At Home order (effective beginning May 4)
  • Blue: Open Doors (hotel reservations and leisure guest bookings permitted; restaurants open for seating – anticipated June 1)
  • Green: New Normal

Coming east to west on the highway
1- Drive up to Good Hope School light
2- Turn right at that light
3- keep driving after turning right until you reach the end of the road. There will be a yellow gas station with a blue roof.
4- Drive in straight towards it
5- Keep driving down that road till you see a T in the road turn left on then take your first right. You will see a house with a lot of broken down vehicles almost like a junk yard
6- Drive down until you see a white picket fence with a Fleming circle sign on it the field is right next to it
