Virgin Islands Archery Federation
Mission Statement

As the National Governing Body for archery in the Virgin Islands, the mission of the Virgin Islands Archery Federation is:

To encourage lifelong participation in and enjoyment of the sport of archery regardless of race, color, religion, nationality, sex, or physical handicap from the beginner, recreational, and sport levels through the elite and Olympic levels. To develop after school and age group team sport programs; host local competitions; provide technical expertise on training, equipment, coaching, performance, and safety; establish procedures for determining eligibility standards for international and elite competitions; and provide opportunities for the future growth of athletes and the sport.

The VIAF accomplishes this mission through cooperation with the National Olympic Committee (NOC), Virgin Islands Olympic Committee (VIOC); International Federation (IF), World Archery Federation (FITA); the International Olympic Committee (IOC); the Virgin Islands Government; and educational, social, and sport clubs.
