2018 Virgin Islands National Archery Championship – June 2, 2018
On June 2nd 2018 the USVI Department of Fish & Wildlife and the St. Croix Archery Club will be hosting a Virgin Islands National Archery Championship.

This year we are holding the Champiionship in honor of Horace Clarke. Horace Clarke was a Major League Baseball player. A second baseman that played for the New York Yankees and the San Diego Padres from 1965 to 1974. He was born on June 2nd 1940 on the island of St. Croix. The Archery program has been practicing and holding events on Horace Clarke Field located next to Arthur Richards Junior High School for years. This maybe the last time we get to shoot on this field as it will be developed into a temporary school this year so the damaged school can be rebuilt.

Sign up for the 2016 National Championship! Please note, proper dress required: closed toe shoes, no sweats, NO CAMO, no overly baggy clothes, no muscle shirts, etc. Clothing must cover midriff when at anchor.

Great event everyone! The archers were all impressive. Thank you to all the volunteers, it could not have been done without your help. Thanks to CES, Junie Bomba, 4-H club, Dept. of Parks and Recreation for allowing us to hold the competition on their field, and so many others for your help. What a great start.
